Teensy 3.1 XBee Adapter

The Teensy 3.1 XBee Adapter is a powerful development platform that offers more computing power than an Arduino Uno, yet comes in a smaller package. This adapter provides a seamless connection between your Teensy and the reliable XBee series, creating an effective solution for projects that need a robust wireless serial link with a good range.

The Teensy 3.1 XBee Adapter is not just a connector; it doubles as a breakout board for both the Teensy and XBee. Every pin on the Teensy and XBee is broken out to standard 2.54mm spaced through-hole soldering points, enabling you to connect any additional components you wish to integrate with the adapter.

While the adapter is designed to interface best with the Teensy 3.1, it is also compatible with the Teensy LC. When paired with the XBee, you can achieve a long-distance serial connection. With the 72MHz processing speed (48MHz for the Teensy-LC), you can process a significant amount of information.

Please note that the only pre-soldered headers on this board are those designed to attach your XBee. Additional headers and wires for connecting your Teensy, breadboard, additional circuits, and so on, will need to be purchased separately.
