XBee 3 Module - RP-SMA Antenna

The XBee 3 Module - RP-SMA Antenna is the latest in the XBee series, combining the best features of its predecessors with new capabilities. This module supports 802.15.4, ZigBee, and BLE protocols and allows communication over UART or SPI. It boasts an impressive indoor range of 61 meters and an outdoor/line-of-sight range of 1219 meters, making it ideal for setting up mesh networks in various environments.

The XBee 3 Module maintains the familiar XBee package and includes a connector for an RP-SMA antenna. It also features a built-in microcontroller, allowing for module configuration and programming using MicroPython or Digi's XCTU software. The module comes equipped with a HCS08 CPU that can run at speeds of up to 50.33MHz, 15 digital I/O pins, and 4 10-bit ADC pins, making it a capable standalone microcontroller.
