XBee RR 802.15.4 RF Modules are embedded solutions providing wireless end-point connectivity to devices. Utilizing the IEEE 802.15.4 networking protocol, these modules excel in fast point-to-multipoint or peer-to-peer networking. They are ideal for high-throughput applications requiring low latency and predictable communication timing. Designed for low-cost, low-power wireless sensor networks, these devices ensure reliable data delivery while operating in the ISM 2.4 GHz frequency band. Local configuration is simplified with BLE through the Digi XBee Mobile app. The XBee RR is functionally equivalent to the XBee3 but lacks MicroPython and full BLE programmable services.
