Adafruit High Temp Waterproof DS18B20 Digital temperature sensor + extras

This pre-wired and waterproof version of the DS18B20 sensor is crafted with a PTFE wire cable, allowing precise temperature measurements even in remote or wet locations. The sensor withstands temperatures up to 125°C, matching the sensor’s upper limit, though it’s not advised for saltwater or corrosive settings due to potential rust on its stainless steel casing.

Enjoy stable digital signals without degradation over long distances, thanks to the sensor's digital nature. Offering a precision of ±0.5°C across much of its range, this sensor delivers up to 12 bits of resolution, easily integrating with microcontrollers using just a single digital pin.

Each sensor holds a unique 64-bit ID for easy differentiation, making it possible to connect multiple sensors on the same pin. It's compatible with 3.0-5.0V systems but operates on the somewhat complex Dallas 1-Wire protocol, necessitating comprehensive coding for communication parsing. For simplicity with analog systems, the TMP36 sensor is recommended.
