Adafruit MPL115A2 - I2C Barometric Pressure/Temperature Sensor

Description Links

This pressure sensor from Freescale offers a budget-friendly solution for barometric pressure measurement. With a 1.5 hPa resolution, it suits basic sensing applications rather than precision altimetry.

The sensor is mounted on a PCB and includes 10K pull-up resistors on its I2C pins. It is compatible with power and logic voltages from 2.4V to 5.5V, perfect for integration with both 3V and 5V microcontrollers.

Featuring an onboard temperature sensor, details on its accuracy remain unspecified. Comparable to the MPL3115A2, this variant specializes in barometric sensing.

Appreciably easy to use, the sensor can be quickly connected to an Arduino. By pairing it with our MPL115A2 Arduino library, you can easily access temperature, pressure, and basic altitude readings directly through the serial console.
