Adafruit BME680 - Temperature, Humidity, Pressure and Gas Sensor

The BME680 from Bosch offers comprehensive environmental sensing in one compact device, equipped with temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and VOC gas sensing over SPI or I2C. Experience high accuracy with ±3% for humidity, ±1 hPa for pressure, and ±1.0°C for temperature.

Due to its precise pressure measurement capabilities, the sensor can also function as an altimeter with ±1 meter accuracy. The integrated MOX sensor detects VOCs such as Ethanol and Carbon Monoxide, providing an overall air quality measurement.

For optimal performance, initial calibration against known gas sources and a "burn-in" period are recommended. The sensor arrives pre-mounted on a PCB with a 3.3V regulator and level shifting, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
