A versatile 2.4" touchscreen display shield with a microSD card socket elevates any Feather project. The TFT exhibit boasts a 240x320 pixel resolution, providing vibrant 16-bit color control, surpassing standard monochrome displays.
This FeatherWing integrates seamlessly with your Feather via SPI for rapid operation. The attached resistive touchscreen enables intuitive fingerpress detection across the display, facilitated by an I2C resistive touchscreen controller and optional interrupt output. A dedicated chip-select pin offers storage for display images on the SD card.
Features dual sockets per pin for flexible connection options and bold square pads on the PCB for direct soldering. It incorporates a user-friendly big reset button, an on/off switch for the Enable pin, and robust mounting holes for easy setup.
The recent update includes a TSC2007 touchscreen controller, replacing the obsolete STMPE811, resulting in enhanced software compatibility via updated Arduino or CircuitPython libraries. A right-angle reset button and a new STEMMA QT port complete this upgrade. Supporting instructions, software, and diagrams are available in the comprehensive product tutorial.
