Adafruit 2.2" 18-bit color TFT LCD display with microSD card breakout

This compact and vibrant display breakout is an excellent choice for enhancing any project with a small, colorful, and bright screen. Its 2.2-inch TFT LCD provides a crisp 320x240 resolution with 18-bit color depth, supporting 262,144 shades for vivid visuals.

Communicating via 4-wire SPI, it boasts a pixel-addressable frame buffer, making it compatible with a variety of microcontrollers, even those with limited memory and pins. Unlike CSTN displays, its true TFT ensures fast refresh rates and superior color quality.

Included in the breakout is an ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator and a 3/5V level shifter, making it versatile for both 3.3V and 5V power and logic systems. Additionally, a built-in microSD card holder allows for easy loading of full-color bitmaps from FAT16/FAT32 formatted microSD cards.

An open-source graphics library accompanies this display, providing functionalities to draw pixels, lines, rectangles, circles, text, and bitmaps. The library is Arduino-compatible, with straightforward portability to other microcontrollers. For added convenience, an 18-pin EYESPI standard FPC connector is also featured, supporting direct GPIO pin connections through a 0.5mm pitch FPC cable.
