The Qwiic Pi HAT boasts four Qwiic connect ports, all on the same I2C bus. Moreover, many of the useful GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi are broken out. This HAT is compatible with any Raspberry Pi that uses the standard 2x20 GPIO header. It has been cleverly designed to sit to the side of the Pi, making it easy to use with a Pi Tin enclosure to connect boards to the Qwiic ports.
Despite a small silk error that has reversed the SDA and SCL, this is purely cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the board in any way.
The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is a comprehensive ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less error-prone. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This design choice not only saves PCB space but also eliminates the risk of incorrect connections thanks to its polarized design.
