Equipped with four Qwiic connection ports on the same I2C bus, the Qwiic Shield also includes a large prototyping area for designing and creating unique circuits. It features multiple 3-by-1 rails for prototyping, along with buses for ground, 5V, and 3.3V. The design also integrates four mounting ports, similar to those on Qwiic sensors, allowing you to attach your small board to the top of the shield.
The Qwiic Shield is an ideal retrofit for any existing Arduino Uno. If you're looking for a solder-free solution, consider the SparkFun BlackBoard with an in-built Qwiic system.
The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is a comprehensive ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less error-prone. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a standard 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space. The polarized connections also ensure you can't connect it incorrectly.
Please note, this product includes R3 Arduino headers, but they are not pre-soldered onto the board. Some assembly will be required when setting up the shield.
