For those who prefer direct access, this ultrasonic sensor also provides VCC, Trigger, Echo, and Ground pins broken out on the edge of the board. However, please note that this sensor comes uncalibrated, requiring manipulation of the raw output to suit specific applications.
The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is a comprehensive ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to streamline prototyping and minimize errors. All Qwiic-enabled boards utilize a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, which not only saves valuable PCB space but also ensures error-free, polarized connections.
The package includes one Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - HC-SR04 and one Right-Angle Header - 4-pin.
The sensor operates at a voltage of 3.3V, with a detecting angle of 15 degrees. It maintains an impressive range of 2cm to 400cm, with an accuracy of 3mm. The board is equipped with an STM8L051 MCU and has a default I2C Address of 0x00. The dimensions of the sensor are 21.5 x 45.5mm, and it weighs 9.2g.
