Adafruit Lithium Ion Polymer Battery with Short Cable - 3.7V 420mAh

Lithium-ion polymer batteries are designed with a focus on efficiency, boasting a slim and lightweight form factor while delivering robust power. These batteries operate with an output voltage ranging from 4.2V when fully charged to 3.7V during discharge.

Featuring a 420mAh capacity, the battery equates to approximately 1.55 Wh. It's equipped with a genuine 2-pin JST-PH connector, ensuring a seamless connection free from snags. The built-in protection circuitry safeguards against over-charging, over-use, and output short circuits, automatically cutting off power at 3.0V to maintain battery longevity.

For optimal charging, a LiIon/LiPoly constant-voltage/constant-current charger is recommended, with a charging rate not exceeding 420mA. Our Micro Lipo charger supports a 100mA default rate, ensuring safe and efficient charging through any USB port.

Safety is paramount; avoid using NiMH, NiCad, or lead-acid chargers, and never leave the batteries unattended during use. Regular inspection for damage or potential short circuits is advised. Compatible with Adafruit chargers, these batteries may face polarity issues with other brands, increasing the risk of damage.
