Adafruit Small Enclosed Piezo w/Wires

This small piezo element, with a 14mm diameter, is enclosed for easy attachment, perfect for converting vibrations to voltage or vice versa. Versatile in its function, it can serve as a buzzer for generating beeps and tones, as well as an alert system.

Its dual capability extends to acting as a sensor, detecting rapid movements like knocks or functioning as a drum/crash sensor under a drum pad. The element handles up to 9Vpp and responds well to 3V square waves, offering sufficient volume for various applications.

Wired with thin leads, this component easily interfaces with solderless breadboards, although direct connection to Arduino socket headers might require adjustments.
