Specifications include: 9.5 Watts max (~2 Amps @ 5V) per meter, so an accurate power supply like the 5V 2A or 10A is crucial. With a built-in controller chip, the protocol demands microcontrollers with precise 100nS timing, such as Arduino Uno/Mega.
