Adafruit FONA 808 Shield - Mini Cellular GSM + GPS for Arduino

The Adafruit FONA 808 GSM + GPS Shield offers seamless cellular and GPS integration for Arduino projects. Its compact design enables voice calls, SMS messaging, and data transmission globally, supporting quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz networks.

The shield features an integrated GPS with 22 tracking/66 acquisition channels for high-precision navigation and location tracking. With a sensitivity of -165 dBm, it swiftly acquires GPS signals for accurate positioning within approximately 2.5 meters.

The device incorporates an onboard LiPoly battery charging circuit, allowing mobility by powering your projects via a 500mAh+ battery. Status LEDs indicate charging progress, ensuring power management efficiency.

Connect external audio devices through a TRRS headphone jack or utilize the breakout for a speaker and microphone. Control vibration notifications with the onboard PWM/Buzzer driver, offering silent alerts for various applications.
