Install bootloader on the ATTiny85
Placed onYou may not see anything under the “Port” tab in the Arduino IDE. To solve this, go to your Device Manager in Windows and see if there is USB2.0-Serial with a yellow triangle in the icon.
If it's there, right-click on it and select "Update Driver". A window opens where you have to select the option “Browse my computer for driver software”. In the next window, click “Browse” and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\ Arduino and click on the “drivers” folder and then “OK”. Then click on “Next” and now Windows will install the driver.
You may get a message that the driver is already installed, but that's okay. Open the Arduino IDE again and now it should be in there.
