This 5 Kg Strain Gauge Load Cell, measuring 80mm in length, is available at a discount due to an ordering mix-up. With the same functionality as its 75mm counterpart, it reliably measures force or strain by changing resistance when deformed.

Encased in sturdy aluminum, the gauge is shielded from damage while still capturing precise measurements. Easily attachable with mounting holes, it can be fixed to an enclosure, allowing you to apply weight for accurate deflection readings.

The output resistance varies with deflection and can be read using a precision ADC or Wheatstone bridge. Beneficial for projects requiring the measurement of pressure, force, weight, and tension, this load cell ensures you capture the necessary data.

Note that each sensor requires calibration with known weights for precise readings. Available in additional capacities of 1 Kg, 10 Kg, and 20 Kg, choosing a load cell with double the maximum intended force or weight ensures maximum accuracy within the chosen range.
