For dimming, utilize an NPN or N-channel MOSFET with PWM input. Requires significant power, suggesting the use of a 12V 5A supply. A 2.1mm female jack and heat shrink are recommended for power connection. For portability, consider an 8xAA battery holder.

While weatherproof, these strips are not optimal for long-term submersion in water or prolonged UV exposure. Ideal for indoor or light outdoor use. Noteworthy is its non-returnable status once the adhesive backing is removed.

Each strip can be easily cut every 5cm along marked cut-lines using wire cutters, with adjustments to the weatherproof cover possible with a hobby knife. Solder to the 0.1" copper pads for use. Available in 5-meter reels or by the meter, with full reels provided for 5-meter purchases.

Connecting tips include trying both wire directions if unsure, as incorrect wiring will not damage the strip. For smaller pieces, connect RGB pads together and link to ground with the 12V+ pad connected to 12VDC.
