Equipped with Adafruit's top-notch RGB Matrix HAT, you'll enjoy an easy setup: just plug in power, connect the IDC cable, and run the Python code. Benefit from power protection circuitry to prevent accidental damage from voltage mishaps, while onboard level shifters ensure smooth and glitch-free matrix driving.

Included is a DS1307 Real Time Clock to keep accurate time even when your Raspberry Pi is rebooted or powered down, making for impressive time displays. The kit contains a 32x32 RGB LED Matrix Panel with a 5mm pitch, the Adafruit RGB Matrix HAT + RTC for Raspberry Pi Mini Kit, a 5V 4A switching power supply, and an 8GB MicroSD Card loaded with PIXEL desktop NOOBS.

Please note: some soldering is necessary to assemble the RGB Matrix HAT. A soldering iron and solder are required to attach the headers. This kit does not include a Raspberry Pi 3, but for a limited time, certain packs come with a Pi 3 via our partnership with Arrow Electronics.
