The envelope output of the SparkFun Sound Detector provides an easy way to understand the amplitude of sound by simply measuring the analog voltage. The gain can be adjusted with a through-hole resistor, which also allows for the alteration of the binary output pin threshold. To understand more about setting gain, please refer to the hookup guide.
The three output signals are available on the 2.54mm pin-out at the edge of the board and are active at the same time. If any output is not required for a particular application, simply leave the corresponding pin disconnected.
The SparkFun Sound Detector is not only an ideal choice for audio sensing but also offers a user-friendly interface. Its compact size and easy-to-understand outputs make it a perfect choice for both beginners and professionals. Whether you are working on a simple sound detection project or a complex audio analysis, the SparkFun Sound Detector is your reliable partner.
