The TMAG5273 from Texas Instruments features a configurable linear magnetic range of either ±40 mT or ±80 mT, along with TI's integrated angle calculation engine (CORDIC) for gain and offset adjustments. It includes magnetic tamper detection and configurable wake-up/threshold settings that can trigger interrupts via the I²C interface or a dedicated interrupt pin.
With a power consumption of just 2.3mA in Active Mode (1µA in sleep mode), a high precision of ±0.5% typical accuracy, a Disable button, and a built-in temperature sensor, the TMAG5273 is an excellent choice for anyone needing a low-power, high-precision magnetic field sensor.
Communication is handled via I²C, with pins broken out to the Qwiic system, eliminating the need for soldering. For those who prefer, the I²C pins are also available on standard 2.54mm-spaced pins.
