Description

This uni-polar stepper motor, complete with a built-in mounting plate featuring two mounting holes, is an excellent choice for smaller projects and stepper experimentation.

The motor offers 32 steps per revolution, with an internal 1/16 reduction gear set, enabling precise control with 516.096 steps per revolution. A flattened shaft allows easy attachment using a set-screw.

Best utilized with the Motor Shield for Arduino, straightforward connections facilitate setup: orange and pink to one motor port, blue and yellow to another, and red to ground. For optimal performance, employ single or double stepping to avoid slowing turns down due to gearing.

This motor delivers high torque at slower speeds, achieving about 12 RPM with 9VDC and under 6 RPM at 5V. Initiating basic tasks is easy with the example code from the Adafruit Motor Shield library or by using the Arduino Stepper library with transistors.
