This charming small television features a 4.3-inch (11cm) diagonal TFT display complete with NTSC/PAL driver board, enclosure, and stand. Its setup is straightforward; connect 12VDC via the 2.1mm center-positive DC jack or use the provided cable with the red and black wires. Pair it with a composite video source using one of the RCA cables for an instant TV experience.
Equipped with three rear buttons, the display offers a menu system to adjust brightness, color, and contrast. It has two composite plugs, AV1 and AV2, where AV2 automatically overrides AV1 when active. This display has been tested with a Raspberry Pi and other analog composite-video sources like a YBox or Propeller w/Video out; however, it is not compatible with VGA, HDMI, or other digital video signals.
Power adapters are sold separately, but the display operates efficiently with any 9VDC or 12VDC 1 Amp adapter. Notably, while the display specifies 12VDC, it functions reliably on power supplies as low as 6VDC.
