Mini Load Cell - 100g, Straight Bar (TAL221)

The Sparkfun Mini Load Cell - 100g, Straight Bar (TAL221) is a compact and versatile device that converts pressure or force into an electrical signal. This miniature load cell, also known as a strain gauge, has a capacity of 100g. It measures the electrical resistance that changes proportionally to the strain applied to the bar, allowing you to accurately gauge the weight of an object, track weight changes over time, or detect the presence of an object through the measurement of strain or load.

The Straight Bar Load Cell is crafted from a durable aluminum-alloy, ensuring its longevity and reliability. It features four strain gauges arranged in a wheatstone bridge formation. The wiring is color-coded for convenience: red for Exc+, green for Sig+, black for Exc-, and white for Sig-. The load cell offers an IP65 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water. It also includes four M3 sized through-holes, making mounting easy.
