Load Cell - 10kg, Straight Bar with Hook (HX711)

The Sparkfun Straight Bar Load Cell, equipped with a hook, is a strain gauge that can convert up to 10kg of pressure into an electrical signal. This device measures electrical resistance that changes proportionally to the strain applied to the bar, allowing you to monitor the weight of an object, track weight changes over time, or detect the presence of an object by measuring the strain or load applied to a surface.

Crafted from an aluminum-alloy, the straight bar load cell can read a capacity of 10kg. It features four strain gauges in a Wheatstone bridge formation. The wiring color code is: red for Exc+, green for Sig+, black for Exc-, and white for Sig-.

With an accuracy of 0.05 %F.S, it ensures precise weight measurement. It also boasts an output sensitivity of 1.0±0.1 mV/V and a zero output of ±0.1 mV/V. The device maintains its performance across temperatures ranging from -10°C to + 50°C, with a minimal effect on zero and span. The load cell can handle an excitation voltage between 3-12 V, and offers impressive insulation resistance of ≥2000 MΩ 100VDC.
