Adafruit LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbutton A.K.A 1960s Sci-Fi Buttons

These LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbuttons bring a retro-futuristic vibe straight out of 1960s or 70s Sci-Fi control boards to modern projects. Their triangular shape offers a distinctive flair compared to standard round or square buttons.

Arrange six together for a striking hexagonal pattern or use them individually for a minimalistic touch. They are medium-sized, allowing easy operation without obstructing your project panel.

Each button comes with a built-in LED that operates independently of the switch, enhancing visual indications or adding aesthetic appeal. The button features a white plastic color with a black plastic body housing the internal LED.

The button includes two switch contacts and two LED contacts, with a forward LED voltage of approximately 2.2V. For best results, connect a 220 to 1000 ohm resistor in series with a 3V or higher power supply.

While the included non-diffused LED meets basic requirements, upgrading to a diffused 5mm LED can significantly enhance the visual output. The switch contacts only connect when pressed and release when let go, allowing versatile LED configurations such as illuminated on press, always lit, or custom settings.
