Adafruit LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbutton A.K.A 1960s Sci-Fi Buttons

Experience a blast from the past with LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbuttons, reminiscent of 1960s Sci-Fi control panels. These triangular buttons capture the retro-futuristic vibe, capable of forming neat hexagonal patterns or standing alone as a striking centerpiece.

Featuring a built-in green LED, the button offers independent control for both functionality and aesthetics. Constructed with a black plastic body, it contains two distinct contacts for the button mechanism and LED, with markings for positive and negative connections.

The LED operates at a forward voltage of approximately 2.2V. A 220 to 1000 ohm resistor is recommended to ensure proper operation with 3V or higher power supplies. Although equipped with non-diffused LEDs, replacing them with diffused 5mm LEDs is suggested for enhanced illumination.

The button contacts temporarily connect when pressed, providing flexibility in programming the LED's behavior. Options range from illuminating on press to continuous light or custom configurations, expanding creative possibilities for any control setup.
