Adafruit LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbutton A.K.A 1960s Sci-Fi Buttons

We've got plenty of round and square buttons, but these LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbuttons add a unique twist. The design echoes a nostalgic 1960's or 70's Sci-Fi aesthetic, ideal for any retro-futuristic control panel. Incorporate six for a striking hexagonal setup or use them individually for a subtle touch.

These buttons are conveniently medium-sized, ensuring effortless operation without overwhelming your project panel. Each unit includes a blue colored button, with a built-in LED that allows separate control from the switch action, perfect for signaling or adding a visual flair.

The button features two contacts for the LED, marked + and -, and two for the button itself. The LED operates at a forward voltage of about 2.2V. To maximize performance, connect a 220 to 1000 ohm resistor in series to a 3V or higher power supply. Consider swapping the included non-diffused LED for a diffused 5mm LED for enhanced aesthetics.

The switch contacts remain disconnected until the button is pressed, activating a temporary connection. The LED functions independently, offering flexibility to light up under various conditions: when pressed, not pressed, or constantly illuminated, tailored to your project needs.
