Adafruit PT1000 RTD Temperature Sensor Amplifier - MAX31865

Platinum RTDs, such as the PT1000, set the benchmark for precision temperature sensing. Crafted from a platinum strip with a resistance of 1000 ohms at 0°C, PT1000 RTDs excel in accuracy, stability, and repeatability, surpassing typical thermocouples and thermistors.

This setup ensures precise readings by compensating for wire resistance and connecting effortlessly to any microcontroller via SPI.

The breakout board incorporates a 4300Ω 0.1% reference resistor, a 3.3V regulator, and level shifting for compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V systems, such as Arduino. Additional features include a user-friendly assembly process with provided terminal blocks and pin headers suited for breadboards or perfboards.
