The 1.3" 168x144 SHARP Memory LCD display combines the benefits of both eInk and LCD technologies. Experience ultra-low power consumption akin to eInk while enjoying the fast-refresh capability of an LCD. The display presents a sophisticated black-on-gray e-reader style. While it lacks a backlight, it remains daylight readable, but requires external LEDs for nighttime use.

The display operates at 3V power and logic, integrated onto a breakout board with a 3V regulator and level shifting, enabling compatibility with 3V or 5V power sources. Quick installation is facilitated by the ZIF socket and mounting holes, ensuring secure attachment within your projects. Ideal for use with high-RAM microcontrollers like ATSAMD21, Teensy 3, ESP8266, or ESP32 owing to its write-only nature, necessitating a data buffer of 3KB.
