Adafruit 1.54" Tri-Color eInk / ePaper Display with SRAM

Easy e-paper integration arrives for microcontrollers with this user-friendly breakout, streamlining the addition of a tri-color eInk display. Utilizing technology from e-readers, this 1.54" display offers high contrast and superb daylight readability, emulating the look of printed paper.

Boasting 200x200 black and red pixels against a white background, it enables dynamic image retention without power. The accompanying Arduino library allows seamless frame buffer creation and simple display updates.

To address memory limitations, a built-in SRAM chip shares the SPI port, minimizing the RAM footprint and obviating frame-buffering. Our library manages the process effortlessly, mimicking an Adafruit_GFX-compatible display interface.

Ideal for ultra-low power applications, it features an onboard 3.3V regulator with an Enable pin for power management, alongside a MicroSD socket for image and file storage. This compact yet versatile display is compatible with both 3V and 5V logic levels, fitting perfectly with any microcontroller.
