What's smaller than a Feather but larger than a Trinket? It's an Adafruit ItsyBitsy ESP32, a powerful processor PCB with numerous pins. It features the ESP32 Pico module, an FCC-certified module containing an ESP32 chip with a dual-core 240MHz Tensilica processor, WiFi, and Bluetooth® classic + BLE, configured with 8 MB of Flash memory and 2 MB of PSRAM.
This ultra low power ESP32 board boasts a deep sleep current consumption of just 10uA. At its core is the ESP32 (PICO ECO V3) chip, a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® combo chip designed with TSMC’s 40 nm low-power technology. The ESP32 PICO integrates all peripheral components seamlessly, making it perfect for compact applications like the ItsyBitsy.
Specifications include maintaining the same size and form-factor as other ItsyBitsy mainboards. It includes a USB Micro B for compatibility, and retains high-speed UART for debugging via a USB to serial converter chip. The board also supports Arduino IDE, CircuitPython, and MicroPython.
This versatile device offers 20 general-purpose IO pins, dual-core processor, built-in NeoPixel LED, and built-in Red LED on pin D13. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth® LE, and BT Classic for any IoT project. Additional features include 8 MB Flash & 2 MB PSRAM, 5V level-shifted output on D5, and battery input pads for external battery packs.
A small but mighty package, each order comes with an assembled and tested ItsyBitsy ESP32, ready for your next big project.
