Adafruit 0.56" 4-Digit 7-Segment Display w/I2C Backpack - White

LED matrix backpacks provide a compact solution for controlling multiple LEDs without extensive wiring. These devices feature integrated driver chips that handle display multiplexing, delivering ultra-bright, consistent color through constant-current drivers. With simple I2C interfacing, the backpacks offer 1/16 step display dimming.

The kit includes a fully tested LED backpack, a 4-digit 0.56" tall white seven-segment display, and a 4-pin header. Thanks to address-selection jumpers, you can connect multiple displays on a single I2C bus.

Easy soldering is required to connect the matrix to the backpack. The updated board features STEMMA QT connectors compatible with SparkFun Qwiic connectors for solderless development board connections. A detailed tutorial guides you through assembly and operation, complemented by a user-friendly library for quick setup.
