Adafruit YBox2 Kit

The YBox2 is a DIY networked set-top box designed for creativity and innovation. Perfect for connecting to your TV, it allows for the delivery of customized Internet content directly to your screen.

Built with the advanced Parallax Propeller chip, the YBox2 boasts 8 cores and 32KB of RAM, operating at 80MHz. It's compatible with any NTSC or PAL TV through composite RCA input.

This project simplifies Internet connectivity by supporting DHCP routers. An internet-enabled bootloader is pre-installed for easy program uploads from your computer, no special cables required.

Included is an IR receiver for TV remote control integration, a full-color RGB status LED, and a piezo buzzer for audible alerts. The kit is open-source, encouraging endless possibilities and customization.
