Adafruit Snowflake LED Filament

This glowy snowflake is crafted from COB LEDs, similar to those found in "Edison-like" bulbs, arranged to emit a bright, warm glow. These tiny diodes are combined on a sturdy metal substrate and shielded with silicone for durability.

Despite LEDs being positioned on one side, the thin PCB substrate allows it to emit a soft glow even from the back. Powered by just 3V, these LEDs require minimal power; a current-limiting resistor is advisable to maintain a maximum of 100mA.

While not flexible, the snowflake provides a uniform glow resembling a tungsten filament, perfect for bringing a whimsical, wintry ambiance to miniature sets, dioramas, or dollhouses. As a simple extended LED, dimming with PWM is a breeze.

To activate, simply supply 3V by connecting both ends. The cathode is marked with a "-" symbol; reversing polarity is an easy fix if it doesn’t light. Compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs, this feature adds ease to connecting setups.
