This socket accommodates DIP chips with up to 28 pins and 0.3 inches in width. Its design allows it to snap into existing circuit boards or sockets, reducing the need for board redesign. We successfully tested it on an Arduino socket, showcasing its versatility. Substitute chips seamlessly, even when stacking headers or adding shields.
