LilyPad ProtoSnap Plus

The LilyPad ProtoSnap Plus is a versatile sewable electronics prototyping board that allows you to experiment with circuits and programming. It's designed to be easily separated into individual components, making it perfect for creating interactive fabric or wearable projects. The board is programmed using the free Arduino software, which is compatible with the ATmega32U4 on the LilyPad USB Plus at the heart of the board. This allows you to write and upload your own programs, giving you the freedom to create almost anything you can imagine.

The LilyPad ProtoSnap Plus features a central LilyPad USB Plus microcontroller, which is pre-wired to a range of LilyPad components. These include a light sensor, a buzzer, a button board, a slide switch, and four pairs of coloured LEDs. As these components are all connected on the ProtoSnap board, you can test your project ideas before you sew. The board also includes expansion ports for sewing your wearables together or for connecting external sensors and components using alligator cables. Once you're happy with your coding, you can break the board apart and sew the components into your project.

However, please note that the LilyPad ProtoSnap Plus is NOT supported on Windows 7/8 due to a lack of support drivers for those specific operating systems.
