Adafruit Rugged Metal Pushbutton with Red LED Ring

These chrome-plated metal buttons combine durability with aesthetics. Drill a 16mm hole into materials up to 1/2" thick to secure them, with a rubber gasket ensuring water resistance.

Featuring a flat metal actuator and a bright red plastic LED ring, this button's design is as functional as it is eye-catching. The back houses 3 contacts: common, normally-open, and normally-closed, alongside LED ring connectors (+ and -).

Light the LED by connecting 3 to 6V—thanks to a built-in resistor. For higher voltages, like 12V or 24V, add a 470 ohm resistor in series to maintain a current of around 20mA.

This momentary push button shorts the normally-open contact to the common contact when pressed, reverting upon release. With separate switch and LED operations, wiring options are versatile depending on your needs.
