Heating Pad - 5x15cm

The Sparkfun Heating Pad measuring 5x15cm is an ideal solution for near-body heating applications. This DC powered heating pad warms up to a safe touch temperature with a 5VDC voltage applied to the wire leads. In just a few minutes, the pad begins to warm up, offering comfortable heat.

Constructed with a mesh of Polyester filament and Micro Metal Conductive Fiber, these heating pads are folded into a protective Polyimide Film. Their low power consumption, flexibility, and compact size make them ideal for use in heated garments such as hand warmers. With the integration of a microcontroller and some sensors, you could even create your own climate-controlled clothing.

Attention: It's crucial to follow the appropriate power requirements when operating this heating pad. Failure to do so may result in burns to bare skin. Due to this, the product is not recommended for beginners.
