Planetary Gearmotor - 140RPM

The Sparkfun Planetary Gearmotor - 140RPM is a versatile, DC planetary gearmotor with a no-load speed of approximately 140RPM. Perfect for a range of applications, including robotics, electric locks, home automation, and small actuators, this motor provides a blend of power and precision.

The motor operates within a supply voltage range of 6VDC to 24VDC, with a polarity marker located at the base of the motor for easy identification. The planetary gearbox, situated atop the motor housing, endows this motor with a significant stall torque, making it a formidable power source despite its compact size. The motor body is primarily metallic, aside from the first input gear set's planet gears, which are made of plastic.
