Adafruit Number LED Filament - Warm White "2"

This warm-white glowy number utilizes modern COB (chip on board) LEDs, commonly found in 'Edison-like' bulbs, designed to produce a bright, warm lighting effect. Constructed from numerous micro LED diodes bonded onto a stiff metal backing and coated with silicone, these LEDs offer durability and protection.

Despite being placed on one side, the thin PCB substrate allows for a dim glow on the reverse side. With a parallel arrangement, they only require 3V to illuminate, ensuring easy operation. To maintain optimal performance, it's recommended to use a resistor to limit the current to a maximum of 100mA.

These LEDs provide a uniform glow that remarkably mimics a tungsten-like filament. They are non-flexible, but their lightweight nature allows for versatile applications like gluing to surfaces, sewing onto fabric, or tying with fishing line. Perfect for creative arrangements, they are essentially a 'big long LED' that can be PWM dimmed with ease.

Activate by powering with 3V, connecting to the ends marked with a cathode negative symbol. Shouldn't you succeed in lighting them up initially, simply reverse the connection. These LEDs are compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs or can be soldered/clipped to the bottom tabs for seamless integration into various projects.
