Inside the plastic tube is a gold-plated slip ring designed for 12 wires. These 12 color-coded wire sets are crafted from 28 AWG, ensuring that continuity is maintained regardless of how the assembly is twisted. Each wire set supports currents up to 2A at 240VAC or 240VDC.

The unit features a 44mm (1.7") diameter flange with mounting holes for easy attachment. Alternatively, the flange can be removed with a hacksaw, as it is made from ABS plastic. The assembly is rated to rotate up to 300 RPM, though higher speeds can be achieved at the cost of lifespan and increased noise.
