Adafruit MiniBoost 5V @ 100mA Charge Pump - AP3602A

This adorable little board comes in handy when a small amount of 5V power is needed. Similar in size to a linear regulator, it's actually a mini-booster. Input 3V on one side, and get 5V up to 100mA on the other. Ideal for battery-powered projects with 2 or 3 Alkaline or a single Lithium battery.

Perfect for compact setups, this booster uses a charge-pump topology. While not as efficient as inductor-based converters, it efficiently doubles incoming voltage for low current applications. Ideal when precise power consumption isn’t a priority.

The package includes a fully assembled breakout with an AP3602A and additional components. Simply supply 3-5VDC to the IN and ground pins to get 5V on the OUT pin. The enable pin can be pulled low to disable the output, offering control when needed.
