Build your own vibrant LED setup with the tiny 5050 RGB LED, incorporating the same integrated LED as our NeoPixel strips and pixels. This compact 5mm x 5mm light ensures bright illumination in designs of any size.

The built-in driver chip provides a constant 18mA current, guaranteeing consistent colors even with variable voltage, eliminating the need for external resistors and simplifying your design. Powered by 5VDC, these LEDs are ready for action.

This 4-pin version differs from its 6-pin counterparts and includes built-in polarity protection, making it ideal for new PCB designs. Although they can't replace an 'S chip, their brightness and code compatibility remain unchanged. You can easily chain these LEDs by linking the output of one to the input of another.

Utilizing a timing-specific protocol, these LEDs require a real-time microcontroller like an AVR or Arduino. With the WS2811 chip set at 800KHz, they're supported by our Neopixel library for Arduino, requiring a minimum 8MHz processor. Perfect for hand soldering, each package contains 100 individual LEDs, ready to enhance your projects.
