This ready-to-go NeoPixel LED Outdoor Netting simplifies creating expansive grids by eliminating the need to piece together multiple LED strips. It features a 20 x 20 RGB LED grid, requiring only a single pin for the 400-LED display.
The net includes 20 x 20 RGB NeoPixel LEDs, spaced 50mm (2 inches) apart, in a pre-wired zig-zag pattern. Designed for SK6812/WS2812/NeoPixel data input at 5V logic level, it performs best when powered with 12V DC, delivering optimal brightness and consistent voltage across the grid.
Each LED draws 30mA at full brightness, necessitating a potential maximum of 12A; however, a 12V 5A source suffices for most display scenarios. Pair with the Sparkle Motion board, which offers an ESP32, level shifted output, and USB PD and DC input for easy 12V supply.
Start quickly with WLED or any compatible system capable of controlling 400 LEDs. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor displays, but not waterproof; bring indoors during extreme weather, and avoid long-term direct sunlight exposure. Attachment points on all four sides, including plastic rings and wire loops, enable easy expansion for larger displays. Consult our NeoPixel Uber guide for more tips on usage and maintenance.
