Add even more power to your robot with this metal-geared servo. The tiny servo can rotate approximately 180 degrees, working just like the standard kinds you're used to, but smaller. Despite its size, this micro-servo is as strong as many 'standard' size servos!
Good for beginners who want to make stuff move without building a motor controller with feedback and gearbox, especially since it will fit in small spaces. This versatile motor works great with the Motor Shield for Arduino, our 16-channel Servo Driver, or by simply wiring it up with the Servo library.
This micro servo packs a big punch for its small size. It's slightly larger than our High Torque Metal Gear Micro Servo but operates with nearly double the stall torque. Comes with a few horns and hardware. The orange control wire can be easily connected to an Arduino pin and utilized with the Servo library included with the Arduino IDE.
Note that this servo lacks mechanical stops and requires 5V signals, so ensure your driver supplies 5V logic and power. Default servo pulse widths (usually 1ms to 2ms) may limit the range of motion, but adjusting to custom pulse lengths like 0.75ms to 2.25ms can expand it. Beware of using too short or too long pulses to prevent damage to the servo.
