Adafruit Lithium Ion Battery Pack - 3.7V 6600mAh

This lithium-ion pack is engineered with 3 balanced 2200mAh cells, delivering a total capacity of 6600mAh. Efficiently connected in parallel, these cells are spot-welded to a protection circuit, ensuring over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-current safeguards.

With each cell capable of providing 0.5C of current, the pack offers a peak current of over 3.3 Amps. For optimal performance, maintain a constant current draw below 0.2C or 1.3A. The batteries come pre-installed with a 2-pin JST-PH connector, complemented by a high-quality, snag-free cable rated for 2A.

The built-in protection circuit prevents the battery voltage from exceeding safe limits, automatically cutting off power at approximately 3.0V when fully discharged. Recharge safely using a LiIon/LiPoly constant-voltage/constant-current charger at a rate of 0.25C (1.5A) or less. For enhanced safety, charging at 0.2C or less is advisable.

Please note, these batteries do not include built-in thermistors; therefore, avoid using NiMH, NiCad, or lead-acid chargers. Follow safety protocols: do not short, crush, or puncture. Regularly inspect for any damage or loose wiring. Ensure polarity compatibility with Adafruit LiPoly/LiIon chargers and boards to prevent damage.
