The LilyPad Arduino USB board operates at 3.3V, just like the LilyPad Simple. Its on-board power switch allows you to save power when not in use. Designed to streamline your projects, this board eliminates the need to sew a power supply, giving you more room to work and simplifying the process.
Developed by Leah Buechley and cooperatively designed by Leah and SparkFun, LilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology with large connecting pads for easy sewing into clothing. A variety of input, output, power, and sensor boards are available, all washable for easy maintenance. With LilyPad, you can bring your e-textile projects to life with ease and style.
A portion of each sale of the LilyPad Arduino USB board is given back to Dr. Leah Buechley for the continued development and education of e-textiles. Additionally, a share is also given to Arduino LLC to fund the development of new tools and IDE features.
The board features a 50mm outer diameter and a thin 0.8mm PCB, making it compact and lightweight for any project.
