SparkFun weather:bit - micro:bit Carrier Board (Qwiic)

The SparkFun weather:bit is a carrier board designed to be paired with the micro:bit, creating a comprehensive weather station. It facilitates access to data on barometric pressure, relative humidity, and temperature. The board also provides connections for optional sensors to measure wind speed, direction, rainfall, and soil conditions. The latest version features a vertical Qwiic connector, further expanding the micro:bit's potential for weather data collection.

The weather:bit is easily connected to the micro:bit via an edge connector at the top of the board. This design allows for easy swapping of micro:bits for programming and ensures reliable connections to all of the micro:bit's pins. For enhanced connectivity, serial and I²C headers are also included on the weather:bit.

The micro:bit is a compact computer that encourages creativity with digital technology. Paired with the weather:bit, the micro:bit can be used to create a wide variety of unique projects, from robots to musical instruments, and much more. With dimensions half the size of a credit card, this versatile board offers vast potential for innovation and exploration.

Please note that the SparkFun weather:bit does not include a micro:bit board. The micro:bit will need to be purchased separately.
