Adafruit IR distance sensor includes cable (10cm-80cm)

This SHARP distance sensor uses infrared technology to measure object proximity with precision. It provides an analog voltage output, indicating how close the nearest object is, making it ideal for short-range detection. For distances over 1 meter, sonar sensors are recommended.

Key features include a 12-inch long 3-JST interface wire for easy connectivity. Simply connect the black wire to ground, red wire to 5V, and white wire to analog input. The output voltage ranges from 3V for objects 4 inches (10 cm) away to 0.4V at 32 inches (80 cm).
